Coventry university, UK is one of the leading design institute in europe and many of its designer are doing remarkable work in automotive design. Russell Carr of Lotus, Alister Whelan at Audi, Guy Burgoyne, Volvo, Andy Wheel - Senior Designer, Geoff Mathews Design, Sean Henstridge - Designer, Citroen Paris, Ajay Panchal - Designer with Nissan USA, Oliver Gilbertson - Designer with Adidas Germany are few among those who studied at Coventry.

Pict- An evening in Indore

I am over with my current job and left that with nowhere to go. Many of my friend congratulate d me, some were amused. i have enough time to think where to go next. i am asked, where would i prefer to go, when i say i am open for whetever exciting comes in. i might be lebelled as focusless but i think confining myself to one particular area wont be right thing. when i was young i had dream of becoming a doctor then engineer, and radio presenter, TV playback commentator, a retailer. and i ended up be a product designer, and it does not say what product so i just want to do whatever i find intresting. i have dream of designing a restaurent , media company, sports accessory, automotive, and list goes on.

here is list of people who successfully shifted career, they did really great in there second role.

India Awaken

In recent times, there has been too much written about india. two article that caught my attention were in TIME. one was about INDIA AWAKEN and other talks about reunion of IITians in USA.
Succcess of IIT has proved India's calibre in producing quality engineer but when it comes to technological innovation , capable to change the world, we are far behind. i wonder why IITians get success in USA only and not in our own country? There could be number of reasons. Govt can be blamed for all that but we forget it govt only who started IIT and running it and who is the government , it people who choose them. so it comes back to people.
Success of IITian will help india to position it self as a future technology power but what about primary education, i think time has come when we should give more importance to basic education, rather than starting centre for advanced studies. if our foundation is strong , future will be stong too. students from rural india and public school in delhi give us contrasting picture of our education level. we need to bridge that gap or else whole generation we will left behind in our race to progress.
