After long criticism of not doing anything about decreasing number of tigers and inetrvention of prime minister manmohan singh, indian governemnt wake up to do save tigher. A high level committe has been set up to decide what need to be done, well i hope they decide before they left left with nothing to do. Tigher population in india is decreasing with alarming rate. Expert give their own opinion. Well what "ECONOMIST" has written is true to quite an extent. i do belive that rising economy has played a major role in increasing demand of tigers body parts.
Tiger is a living pharmacopoeia: nearly every part of it has commercial value. Rising population of tribals in india lead to the frequent confrontation between human and tigers. Valmik Thapar, conservationists says that co-existence is “an impractical dream”, because each tiger must eat 50 cow-sized animals a year to survive, and if you put it amid cows and people, the conflict will be “eternal and perennial”.
Well as i promised that this blog will not be used for awarness issues, but this is something not about human and these animal need attention. We dont want out next generation to see tiger as we look at the dinosaures.
